Intro Into My World

Hi Everyone

Blog post #1, how exciting! When ever I'm out and have a chance to talk with someone its always nice to know that in whatever situation you are in you are not the only who has been through it! Getting advice and giving advice seems to make my world more peaceful. There is so much for me to talk about rather than keep it bundled up inside so BLOGGING WORLD HERE I COME!

Let's start with a quick back drop:

I am married to an amazing man who works all day while I stay home and take care of the house, kids, dogs and chickens. Along with saying "I DO" to my husband I also said "I DO" to his 3 kids. All who were in the ages of 13-17 at the time. And likewise when he said "I DO" he said it to me and my 1 child that I brought along who is a pre teen. So there you have it 4 kids all in the "big kid" age groups and all with different personalities and temperaments. Added to my household are my 2 dogs who take up a huge part of my day seeing how they are the only two who keep me sane during my dags and my (now only) one chicken, Miss Abernathy, she is such a doll!

That covers my living situation now onto me.

I just turned, well who cares how old I turned haha to be honest I feel like I'm no where near my age. At times I feel younger and others times not so much "older" but wise than my actual age. I love with all that I have, I am very protective of my family but at the same time I am at times strict and love to have things in order. Around the house I feel more like a drill sergeant than a mom. Our youngest just started online school so now I have another human in the house throughout my days which I am perfectly fine with. The only downside to that is no more walking around in my underwear but hey it's a good trade off. I spend my days cleaning, looking up dinner recipes (thank God for Pinterest), helping the youngest with school work and being a taxi. This is usually on a calm day. For some reason things do not stay calm around here for too long. Before I would stress out and it would turn into a fight with my husband but now I do my best to just let things roll off which isn't always easy when dealing with teenagers and an ex wife.

Well with that I'm off to start my lunch date with my pastry chef sister so til next time world keep laughing. ;)
